Our very own, Mrs. Loren Renfroe, language arts and social studies teacher was named Educator of the Year along with Liz Vargas (Support Staff of the Year) & Chris Boyd (Administrator of the Year).

Ever wonder how the PTSA funding works?!?
📆Next Monthly PTSA Meeting: Tues. Dec. 9th, 6-7pm at SVMS Library Join us as we finalize last minute preparations for the Fall/Winter student social; discuss results of November (See's Candies) and status of December (Regal theater) fundraisers; receive an update from Sky View Admin; and welcome input/suggestions from parents, students, and teachers. 📢 New this December...the PTSA will host a preliminary brainstorming session for the 8th grade celebration as part of our last monthly meeting before winter break. Note: The 8th grade celebration is fully managed & financed by 8th grade parent volunteers - not the PTSA or SVMS Admin/Faculty. Therefore, any 8th grade student and/or parent interested in shaping the theme/concept/location of the event should attend!!
Volunteers need to be at the school no later than 5pm & can sign-up HERE.
The Winter Social will include a DJ & dancing in the cafeteria, a variety of activities in the hallways, and both volleyball & basketball in the gym. There is something for everyone! This is a great no-cost event for all students.

Holiday Cookie Buffet for Faculty:Wed. Dec 17th by 9am in the Attendance Office. As a holiday treat, we're hoping to provide teachers and staff with a box of holiday goodies to take home. We'll provide a decorative holiday box for treat take-out, and we're hoping families will provide the goodies!
